How to Participate in this Great Shenanigan

1. Pick an unsuspecting victim (we will refer to this victim as our "mark"). Characteristics of good, potential marks:
   • Moderately High Intelligence
   • Familiarity with IQ Tests
   • No tendencies to beat you up when they find out you've been shenning them.

   If you can find someone who is arrogant or elitist about his or her intelligence, entertainment value should increase accordingly.

2. Show your mark a copy of The Test with a story that goes something like this:

        A friend of mine found this IQ test floating on the net.  It
        was a test for people who had already tested with IQ's over
        125.  I think the two psychologists who conducted the test
        were trying to prove that the problems with most IQ tests
        didn't really affect people who had known IQ's over 140.  I 
        can't remember exactly... it was something like that.
   

   Don't just copy and paste the above story... it's much more convincing if you use your own words.

   Email is probably the most effective way to get this test to your mark, but if you decide to print it out, be sure to print without the big "IQ Shen" headers.

3. Take note of the mark's responses and reactions to the test.
